Job Summary
The Housekeeper II will provide cleaning and maintenance for all carpeted and hard surface floors in the hospital. In addition, this position will provide relief housekeeping duties in order to maintain an orderly, sanitary and attractive environment.

The essential functions of this job are:
  • Shampoo bonnet carpets
  • Burnish hard surface floors
  • Refinish hard surface floors
  • Extraction of carpets
  • Waste handling

Required Qualifications

  • Read and comprehend basic English
  • At least one year of janitorial experience in a health care facility
  • At least six months experience in floor finish application and removal
  • At least six months experience in carpet shampoo and extraction techniques
  • At least six months experience in floor care maintenance in an institutional setting
