 Job Title:Nursing Unit Supervisor - Medical / Telemetry - Full Time Night Shift

Job Summary
The Nursing Unit Supervisor will provide leadership, generate decisions and set goals to assure that the Medical / Telemetry meets and exceeds the standards of care defined for the patient population. This position is approximately 80% clinical with hands on patient care and charge nurse duties and approximately 20% administrative Assistant Nurse Manager duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
  • BLS certification
  • Charge Nurse experience
  • Prior experience in a Telemetry Unit
  • At least one year of previous supervisory/management experience
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking capabilities
  • The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN
  • ACLS certification
  • At least three years current Telemetry experience
  • EKG interpretation skills
  • Experience working as a preceptor with new nurses
